Sally has collaborated with performance company 21Common on projects across primary schools since 2018 as a dance artist and facilitator. These projects have included:
Disruptive Pedagogy - a 10 week performance residency at St Brigid’s Primary School, documentation here.
Mis/Adventure - In alignment with Lucy Gaizely’s fellowship at Edinburgh University studying Shame and Addiction, through film, Mis/Adventure interrogated the theme of risk with P7s at Oakwood Primary School, Easterhouse.
We’ve an Empty; An Arts Residency for Children - a film project culminating in a zombie film about the end of the world, led by the ideas of children at St Albert’s Primary School, Pollokshields.
Grow - a performance exploring growth with P6s at Oakwood Primary School, Easterhouse. Using metaphors of photosynthesis as a gateway to addressing our own physical and emotional growth.
